Logan Tabernacle

Preston, Idaho — Napoleon Dynamite Country
★ 4.5Preston, Idaho (population 5,000) became an unexpected cultural landmark when Jared Hess filmed Napoleon Dynamite here in 2003 using local residents as extras and real locations throughout town. The Preston High School (where Napoleon's bus drops him off), the farm on the edge of town (Tater the horse's field), and the downtown streets where the school election scenes were filmed are all easily identifiable.
