Turner Falls & Cedar Canyon Swim

Eighty miles south of Oklahoma City, Turner Falls drops 77 feet over travertine rock into a natural cold-water swimming hole in the Arbuckle Mountains — the largest waterfall in Oklahoma and a state institution that has been drawing swimmers since the 1890s. The cedar canyon surrounding the falls is unlike anything else in Oklahoma: dense red cedar, limestone bluffs, and a year-round creek running cold and clear through a landscape that looks more like the Texas Hill Country than the surrounding plains.
