The Legacy Trail

The southern trailhead at the Venice depot is a pleasant place to start — the restored 1927 depot is a small landmark in its own right — and you can ride out as far as you like and turn back whenever you please. Watch for gopher tortoises, herons, and the occasional bald eagle along the corridor.
