Bruneau Dunes — North America's Tallest Sand Dune, Desert Lakes & the Night Sky

This unhurried day loops out through the farm town of Kuna to Swan Falls Dam, the oldest hydroelectric dam on the Snake, where prairie falcons, golden eagles, and hawks ride the canyon thermals along the basalt cliffs.
